Notes on preferred growing conditions: Chlorella vulgaris prefers moderate light and agitation in solution. This strain uptakes nutrients quickly. Older cells clump together and stick to surfaces. Temperatures grown here are at 70- 75 degrees F. We use a constant intensity of light at 2500 Lux with a periodicity of 12:12 hour light : dark cycle. Temperatures grown here are at 65- 75 degrees F but prefers cool temperatures.
Media: Chlorella Nutrients
